Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 · Last updated 17 October 2026
This policy explains how KMP Studios collects and uses personal information when you visit our website, contact us or use our photography and film services, and the choices and rights you have.
Who we are
KMP & Photography Visual Services (KMP Studios) is responsible for your personal information as its controller.
Address: 2 Hussein Afify St., off Makram Ebid St., Nasr City, Cairo 11765, Egypt. For any question about your personal information or this policy, email info@kmp-studios.com.
Information we collect
- Information you give us when you contact us, request a quote or book: your name, contact details, event date and location, the services you are interested in, and your messages.
- Information needed to deliver your booking: agreements, invoices and payment records, and the photos, videos and galleries we prepare for you.
- Photographs and video recorded at the events we cover, which may show you, your guests and other attendees.
- Website information: device and browser details, the pages you visit, and your language and cookie choices.
- Advertising measurement information, only if you allow it (see below).
- Information from others: from Meta when you send us your details through a Meta ad or lead form; from the person who books on your behalf or for an event you take part in; and from event planners, venues and other partners who refer you to us.
How we use it and our legal bases
Each use relies on one of the legal bases in Article 6 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020:
- To respond to inquiries, prepare proposals and provide the services you book — necessary to perform a contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering into one.
- To photograph and film the events we are booked for and deliver the results to our client — necessary to perform our contract with the client; for guests and other attendees, our legitimate interest in delivering the coverage the client booked.
- To keep accounting, tax and other records — necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
- To run and secure our website and remember your language choice — our legitimate interest in a working, secure website.
- To measure and improve our advertising, including through Meta — your consent.
- To show photographs or video of you in our portfolio or marketing — your consent or permission in your booking agreement.
Advertising and measurement (Meta)
Website: if you choose Allow, we may use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to understand how our ads perform, improve them, and show our ads to people who have visited our website. Meta may then receive the pages you view, actions you take on our website, device and browser details and ad clicks. If you then send us an inquiry through our website, we may also tell Meta, using your contact details in coded (hashed) form, that you sent an inquiry and how it progressed (for example, that it was qualified or became a booking, and the booking value). We do not use these website technologies unless you choose Allow, and if you withdraw your choice, we stop sharing from then on.
Inquiries from Meta ads: if your inquiry came through one of our Meta ads or lead forms, we may tell Meta how it progressed (for example, that it became a booking), using your contact details in coded (hashed) form, so we can measure our advertising. You can object to this at any time by emailing info@kmp-studios.com.
Contacting us or booking with us does not by itself count as consent to the optional website technologies above. If you submit a form hosted by Meta, Meta's own privacy policy also applies to that information.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where needed for the purposes above: with service providers that host our website and systems, manage customer records and accounting, send emails, and store and deliver photos and videos; with Meta, as described above; and with public authorities where the law requires it.
Our service providers act on our instructions. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Some recipients store or process personal information outside Egypt, mainly in the European Union (Germany and Ireland) and the United States. Transfers to our service providers are needed to provide our services to you; transfers to Meta are described above. These transfers are subject to the cross-border transfer conditions of the Personal Data Protection Law and the licensing of the Personal Data Protection Center.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for:
- Inquiries that do not lead to a booking: while we respond and follow up on the inquiry.
- Bookings, agreements, invoices and payment records: for the period Egyptian tax and accounting laws require.
- Photos, videos and galleries: for the delivery and storage period set out in your booking agreement.
- Portfolio and marketing use of images: until you withdraw your permission.
- Advertising measurement information and your cookie choices: until you withdraw your consent or the information is no longer needed for measurement. Cookies expire in your browser, and you can delete them at any time.
When a period ends, we delete the information or keep it only in a form that no longer identifies you.
Your rights
Under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:
- be informed about how we process your personal information, and access it;
- have it corrected or updated;
- have it erased;
- restrict its processing, so that we only store it;
- withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge;
- object to its processing and ask us to stop;
- have it transferred to another organisation in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format; and
- be notified if it is affected by a data breach.
To exercise a right, email info@kmp-studios.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we respond within the period set by law. You may also complain to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Center.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our website is not directed at children. Photographs and video of events may include children. Children's personal information, including their images, is sensitive personal data under the law, and we process it only as the law allows, including with a parent's or legal guardian's consent where the law requires it. To have an image of your child removed from our website, portfolio or social media, contact us.
Guests at events we cover
If you attend an event we cover, you may appear in the photos and video we deliver to the client who booked us. You can ask our team at the event not to photograph you, and ask us at info@kmp-studios.com to remove images of you from our website, portfolio or social media.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. We will ask for your choice again before any new use of advertising measurement.
